Yesterday Cameron Diaz was photographed on the set of Bad Teacher in Los Angeles, California. She was all smiles as she filmed scenes with actor Jason Segel. Justin Timberlake was spotted on the set as well, although Cameron and Justin didn’t shoot any scenes together. Check out 120 photos from the set by clicking on the previews above!
This must be some kind of record! After just nine days of filming, the first promotional still from Bad Teacher has been released! The image, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly’s PopWatch, has Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake dancing together at what looks to be a school prom.
Check out the image in the gallery by clicking on the picture above, and read what director Jake Kasdan said of the duo and the movie below:
“They obviously know each other really well,” Kasdan says of his stars. “They’re good friends, and they’re both incredibly funny people. I couldn’t be more excited about it.”
According to Kasdan, Diaz is playing no less than the worst 7th grade teacher ever. “She’s usually hungover when she gets to school,” he says. “She’s kind of foul mouthed. And she’s completely fixated on trying to afford breast augmentation surgery, and very open about it. She believes it will help her find the right man who will take care of her for the rest of her life.” Enter Timberlake, as a substitute teacher “who happens to be the heir to a watch-making company,” says Kasdan. “She thinks he seems like a good target.” (Jason Segel rounds out the cast as a gym teacher who pines for Diaz’s character.)
Kasdan says Diaz was the first to come aboard the production, and happily signed off on the idea of playing opposite Timberlake. “They have a shared sense of humor,” he says. “It’s easy for them to be funny together. You know where the jokes are.”
It’s been a quiet few months on the Green Hornet front lately, but that shouldn’t be taken as a sign that things are slowing down on the Seth Rogen-starring film. In fact, director Michel Gondry says fans will see the first trailer at some point in the near future. “There’s a trailer that’s been made,” the filmmaker told MTV News during this weekend’s South by Southwest Festival. “It should be out in the spring or summer, actually.”
Based on Gondry’s description of the trailer, fans will learn a good amount about Rogen and Jay Chou’s characters of Britt Reid and Kato, the two heroes at the center of the action. But it’s not all about character development, as Gondry promised plenty of violence in the upcoming trailer. “You see Kato and Seth deciding why they want to be crime fighters,” he said. “Then you see images of their completion. It’s pretty violent, but with a good spirit.”
Despite the lack of recent information, Gondry said that all was well on The Green Hornet. According to the filmmaker, the relationship between himself, Rogen, the studio and various producers couldn’t be healthier. “It’s a great collaboration,” he said. “I really enjoy working with the producers. All of those guys happen to think very fast and make very random decisions, but they turned out to be successful.”
Can’t wait! When the trailer hits the web, you can be sure to find it on Cameron-Diaz.org!
I have added HD screen captures from My Sister’s Keeper and it’s DVD extras. This is truly a wonderful film. So honest, real and Cameron gives such a fantastic performance as Sara that I felt proud to be a fan watching her. She’s such an underrated actress, in my opinion, and she can handle drama very well. The rest of the cast also delivered awesome performances, especially Sofia Vassilieva as the dying Kate. Check out the screen captures by clicking on the previews above.
Just to clear rumors of Justin Timberlake’s girlfriend Jessica Biel being jealous over the fact that Cameron Diaz and Justin are co-starring in Bad Teacher, I’m posting a recent quote from Jessica:
“I haven’t read the script, but I think it sounds fantastic! It sounds like it will be so funny. Obviously, I’m super excited for him.”
And there you have it.
A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Shrek Forever After, in cinemas May 21. The movie – starring Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Antonio Banderas and lots of more stars – looks awesome, and may I say funnier than the third one. Check it out below and let us know what you think!
Cameron Diaz was recently photographed in the Nevada desert where she was on set for a new photoshoot. It’s yet unknown what magazine the shoot was for, but I think it’s safe to say that we’ll find out soon enough when Shrek Forever After & Knight and Day promotion starts.
According to Radar Online, “Cameron looked amazing and although it was not the most glamorous location she seemed to be having a blast doing the photo shoot.” A big thanks goes out to the always-lovely Sasha for the find. Click on the previews above to view the photos!
