2010 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Posted on March 8th, 2010

As mentioned in the previous update, Cameron Diaz attended the 2010 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Graydon Carter after the Oscars yesterday. She changed from her Oscar de la Renta dress to a more modern, metallic dress by Victoria Beckham. She looked nothing short of amazing as she was photographed posing for the cameras at the red carpet and next to Bad Teacher co-star Jason Segel inside the party. Judging by the photos, she was in a great mood and had an awesome time. Check out 72 84 101 pictures in the gallery!

Next up are videos from the Oscars, both red carpet and presenting on stage!

82nd Annual Academy Awards – Photo Coverage

Posted on March 8th, 2010

Photographers click away as Cameron Diaz and Steve Carell chat backstage. “Get rid of all the ones where our faces are like this,” Diaz tells the shooters as she makes a funny face. When one of the photogs snaps that pose she adds with a smile, “Oh that’s terrible. I’ll remember your face!”

Despite being one of the last celebrities to arrive at the scene of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, there have been a tremendous amount of coverage of Cameron Diaz walking the red carpet. And why wouldn’t there be? She was the best dressed of the evening, looking perfect from head-to-toe in a golden Oscar de la Renta gown, Roger Vivier Haute Couture Sesame clutch, gold satin Wagner pumps by Brian Atwood and white gold jewelry by Cartier (thanks to Just Jared for the style information).

I have added almost well over 300 pictures from the red carpet and Cameron presenting on stage with Steve Carrell. Click on the previews below to check out the photos! Next up is pictures from the Vanity Fair Oscar party, where Cameron changed dress to another great one. Stay tuned!

‘Knight and Day’ Release Moves Up a Week

Posted on March 7th, 2010

According to the always reliable Variety.com, Twentieth Century Fox is moving up the release of Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz starrer Knight & Day by one week, from July 2 to June 25, this in order to get a jump on possible competition.

Chiefly, Knight & Day has more time in theaters before Christopher Nolan’s Leonardo DiCaprio topliner Inception bows on July 16, followed by Angelina Jolie starrer Salt, directed by Phillip Noyce, on July 23. Also, Knight & Day gets five days before Summit releases Twilight: The Eclipse. While not direct competition, Eclipse will take up plenty of oxygen.

Directed by James Mangold, Knight & Day tells the story of a small-town woman who thinks she’s met the man of her dreams. But as time goes by, she comes to suspect he’s a rogue spy.

Welcome to Cameron Diaz Online!

Posted on March 6th, 2010

Those of you who are following us on Twitter (you should too!) know that I have been working on the revamp of this site this week; and now the new Cameron-Diaz.org is here! To prevent confusion due to there being two “Cameron Diaz Fan”-sites online, I’ve now renamed this site to Cameron Diaz Online. But the new things don’t stop there!

I have also converted the entire site to wordpress-pages. This might not be any different from the old system to you, but it’ll make it much easier for me to update the site. I have gone through every single page and updated the ones that needed to be, so make sure you browse the site to see what’s new! There’s a new layout on the site as well (and a matching on at the gallery, which has received new thumbnails) to go with the “new” Cameron Diaz Online.

I hope you’ll enjoy these new changes on the site. Leave a comment before you leave to say what you think of Cameron Diaz Online. Thanks!

Justin Timberlake joins ‘Bad Teacher’

Posted on March 2nd, 2010

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Justin Timberlake has nabbed the coveted role of the male lead in Bad Teacher, the Cameron Diaz comedy Jake Kasdan is directing for Columbia. Molly Shannon and Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family) are also joining the cast.

The script, by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, follows a foul-mouthed, gold-digging seventh-grade teacher who, after being dumped by her boyfriend, sets her sights on a colleague (Lucy Punch) who is dating a substitute teacher, who also is the scion of a watch fortune.

Jason Segel was cast in the supporting role of a gym teacher, with John Michael Higgins slotted as the principal, but the studio has spent the better part of the new year looking though class photos trying to find its leading man. John Krasinski, Joel McHale, Timothy Olyphant, Guy Pearce, Adam Scott and relative newcomer Cheyenne Jackson were in the mix for table reads and other tests.

Jimmy Miller is producing the feature, which starts filming this month in Los Angeles.

This will be very interesting to see and a guaranteed source for speculation, due to Cameron and Justin’s past. What do you think of Justin Timberlake joining the movie?
