Cameron Diaz joins ‘Sex Tape’ with Jason Segel

Here’s some very good news! According to The Wrap, the trio behind Sony’s surprise hit Bad Teacher is chalking up a reunion, as Cameron Diaz is in early talks to reteam with director Jake Kasdan and co-star Jason Segel on the studio’s comedy Sex Tape. Escape Artists is producing the movie, which concerns a married couple who take a night off from their kids and decide to spice up their love life by making a sex tape. When they wake up the next morning, the tape is missing, prompting them to figure out who took it and how to get it back. Diaz had been rumored as a possible female lead more than a year ago, but negotiations are now underway and expected to lead to a deal. Kate Angelo wrote the script on spec, and the film will be produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch of Escape Artists. If this is anything like Bad Teacher - and it sure sounds like it will be – count me in!

Kate Upton joining ‘The Other Woman’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kate Upton is in talks to join Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann as women seeking revenge against a philanderer in Fox’s The Other Woman. Nick Cassavetes is directing the comedy, which centers on a woman (Diaz) who finds out that she is “the other woman” in an affair. She teams up with the wife (Mann) to get revenge on the cheating cad of a husband, being played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Upton is another one of Coster-Waldau’s mistresses who has no idea he is married and ends up joining the other two in the revenge scheme. Taylor Kinney is in talks to join the cast too. Although they have to work around his schedule on his series Chicago Fire. Julie Yorn is producing the project, which was written by Melissa Stack and will shoot in late spring/early summer in New York.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Leslie Mann and Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are in negotiations to star opposite Cameron Diaz in 20th Century Fox’s The Other Woman. Julie Yorn is producing the comedy which sees a woman (Diaz) finding out that she is “the other woman” in an affair. She teams up with the wife (Mann) to get revenge on the cheating cad of a husband (Coster-Waldau). Nick Cassavetes is directing the project, which was written by Melissa Stack and will shoot late spring/early summer in New York. The part Mann will play was rumored to originally have been offered to Kristen Wiig. What do you think of the new cast additions?

HD screen captures from ‘Gambit’

Gambit was released on Blu-ray and DVD in The UK on Monday (visit Amazon.co.uk to buy your copy!), and I have added HD screen captures to our photo gallery. The film is quite entertaining and all the actors are definitely game for the heist. However, I feel that the characters all could’ve been more developed and the script have more funny elements to it, instead of having the actors creating practically all of it themselves through slap-stick and faces. That being said, it’s worth a viewing for a stunning Cameron!

Cameron Diaz for Comic Relief

To support the charity foundation Red Nose Day, Cameron Diaz participated in the Comic Relief campaign by appearing in ads wearing a t-shirt designed by her good friend Stella McCartney. As previously mentioned, Cameron Diaz is gracing the cover of Interview Russia’s March issue with a feature story by Naomi Campbell. But there are modern greats too, and no one epitomises modern day Hollywood more than Cameron Diaz. I’ve had the privilege of knowing and calling Cameron a friend for many years now. We got to know each other during a holiday in Hawaii and really hit it off. She’s a real girls girl, we always have a great time. But when all is said and done, Cameron defines what it is to be a modern day movie star. I caught up with Cameron on a recent trip to Miami to get a rare insight into the world of Hollywood’s leading lady…

CAMPBELL: Which artist, actress, actor would you say is a close friend? You’re a very loyal friend.

DIAZ: I have great friends.

CAMPBELL: You have great friends. The three that I know are Leo, Gwyneth and Drew.

DIAZ: Yes, those are good friends, and you. My girlfriend Lake Bell. Kate…

CAMPBELL: Kate Hudson, right?

DIAZ: Aha. I’m very fortunate. You know Jude (Law) and I are also close friends still.

CAMPBELL: But it makes sense, because you understand each other’s lives. When you’re doing a movie for three, four, five months … there’s no love lost. There is no unspoken word. They get it. They know it.

DIAZ: You share something with each other. It’s just such a great thing to be able to understand.

While browsing the gallery to see what I have yet to add, I found that tons of stills from Cameron’s talk show appearances were missing. I have had these on my hard-drive for some time, but completely forgot to add. As a start, I have added pictures from the appearances Cami made in the 1990′s.
