As mentioned numerous times on our Twitter (be sure to follow us for all the latest news and updates!), Cameron Diaz attended the Los Angeles premiere of What to Expect When You’re Expecting yesterday. She looked absolutely gorgeous, showing her long legs in a short, black Valentino dress. According to Coming Soon, Exclusive Media has announced that they will produce and finance Agent: Century 21, an action comedy with Cameron Diaz and Benicio Del Toro attached to star. The film will mark the feature film debut of Adam Hashemi. The film will be produced by Andrew Lazar of Mad Chance (Confessions of a Dangerous Mind) and David Greenblatt (Battle: Los Angeles) with Shane Black (Iron Man 3) attached to executive produce. The story, penned by Greg Brooker (Stuart Little), sees Diaz play a woman who works in real estate and is dejected from her recent divorce. Feeling that she can’t catch a break, she agrees to take on an unpleasant task for her boss which leads to her getting kidnapped and tossed into the center of a Mexican drug war. Del Toro plays the Cartel boss who takes pity on her and gives her a chance to save her life by sending her on an impossible mission to avenge the death of his son.

“Agent: Century 21 is an adrenaline-infused comedy which brings together two of the hottest stars in Hollywood,” said Guy East and Nigel Sinclair, Co-Chairmen of Exclusive Media. “It’s a dream combination and with our friend Andrew producing the film, it doesn’t get much better than this.” President of international sales and distribution of Exclusive Media, Alex Walton, will shop the project to foreign buyers at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival; CAA is representing North American rights. The film is set to start filming in September.

On May 8 Cameron Diaz appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote the release of What to Expect When You’re Expecting. They talked about Cami’s haircut (as always), attending the Met Gala and the movie. The duo also played a game of “Silent but Deadly”, which resulted in some heavy laughing and great faces. HD screen captures and a video clip of the interview have been added to the site.

This seems to be a good sign for Gambit: CBS Films has decided to move up the release date to October 12 instead of the previously announced January 2013 date. Here’s what the reliable The Playlist had to say about the move: It looks like CBS Films is smelling Oscar or awards season play as they’ve moved up the Coen-penned Gambit starring Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz from a dreaded early January date to October 12th. This likely means a fall festival premiere for the movie (we’re guessing TIFF) and perhaps the performances could garner some awards season attention. The movie opens on a busy weekend with Ben Affleck’s Argo and Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master also dropping. But it seems the studio is feeling pretty confident. Great news, right?

Fantastic news, everyone: Twitch reported that Cameron Diaz has joined the much-anticipated drama The Counselor! The movie, directed by Ridley Scott and written by Cormac McCarthy (No Country for Old Men), also stars Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem and Brad Pitt. It’s still unclear what role she will be taking on, with some reports saying it’s the lead role of Malkina and other stating it’s the supporting character Laura. Whatever the role, I’m so excited to see Cameron joining a project of this caliber. I’m more than positive that she’ll be able to hold her own against the other superb actors (remember Being John Malkovich? Vanilla Sky? In Her Shoes?). Stay tuned as we will continue to report on The Counselor as more details are revealed. The film is set to start production next month.

She looked casual and natural in a white shirt and black pants, a big difference to her glamorous outing at the Met Gala the day before. As mentioned in the previous post, Cameron Diaz attended the 2012 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last night. She was wearing Stella McCartney – and looking phenomenal! This year, themed “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations”, the gala showcased the work of iconic Italian fashion designers Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada. 109 180 pictures have been added to our photo gallery.
