New Movie Rumor: ‘Brilliant’

In an article from ComingSoon.net, saying that Eric Bana is set to star in the heist thriller Brilliant, they mention Cameron Diaz’s name as well. In the movie, directed by Robert Luketic (21, Legally Blonde), Bana will play a small-time criminal who joins accomplished thieves in a diamond heist. As for the female lead in the movie, they say that “the other name that’s been mentioned but unconfirmed to star opposite Bana is Cameron Diaz.”

Stay tuned for more information on Brilliant. What do you think? Should Cameron do this movie or not? Send in your opinions in the comments!

‘Bad Teacher’ Crosses $200 Million Worldwide!

Awesome news! According to the Hollywood Reporter, Bad Teacher earned an additional $2.2M at international box offices this weekend, bringing its total gross to $201.1 million worldwide. The Cameron Diaz comedy now joins The Hangover Part II and Kristen Wiig’s vehicle Bridesmaids as the latest R-rated comedy to hit the $200 million-spot.

The movie’s better-than-expected performance means strong profit margins for Sony, which made  the Jake Kasden-directed pic for under $20 million.

Congrats to Cameron and everyone else involved in this successful project!
