Lionsgate is pushing back the due date for What to Expect When You’re Expecting, the studio said yesterday. The comedy, which stars Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz among others, will premiere on May 18, 2012, a week after it was originally slated to debut in theaters.

By delaying the film’s debut, the studio will get out of the way of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp’s latest collaboration Dark Shadows and Sacha Baron Cohen’s comedy The Dictator. Instead, the film will go up against Universal’s big-budget adaptation of the popular board game Battleship.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting is based on the popular parents-to-be book. Kirk Jones directs the film.

iVillage.com has premiered some brand new posters from the upcoming comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting. The film – coming to theaters on May 11 – stars Cameron Diaz, Brooklyn Decker, Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Lopez, and Anna Kendrick as expecting mothers.

To start off the new year, I have added HD screen captures from my favorite movie from last year – Bad Teacher. Cameron Diaz portrayed school teacher Elizabeth Halsey in one of her funniest roles to date (delivering some classic one-liners), in this must-see comedy also starring Jason Segel, Lucy Punch and Justin Timberlake. According to the reliable Thompson on Hollywood!, composer Rolfe Kent (Up in the Air, Sideways) has been added to the impressive creative team behind Gambit — including three-time Oscar-winning production designer Stuart Craig (Harry Potter, The English Patient, Dangerous Liaisons, Gandhi); Oscar-winning costume designer Jenny Beavan (The King’s Speech, Sherlock Holmes, A Room with a View, Gosford Park) and cinematographer Florian Ballhaus (The Devil Wears Prada, Red).

CBS Films will distribute the film in the US, while FilmNation Entertainment is handling international sales while, with nearly all international territories sold. Alliance Films secured rights early on for Canada, the UK and Spain.

Gambit stars Colin Firth, Cameron Diaz, Alan Rickman, Sir Tom Courtenay, Stanley Tucci and Cloris Leachman. The movie is directed by Michael Hoffman.
