Bad Teacher

Cameron and Justin in bed together?

Posted on March 11th, 2010

How relevant or news-worthy this story is, is up to you guys. Anyway, according to Life & Style Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake will have a “steamy love scene” in the upcoming romantic comedy Bad Teacher. In the movie Cameron plays Elizabeth, a recently dumped school teacher determined to score a date with Justin Timberlake’s character, Scott, a fellow teacher already in a relationship. Here’s what they said about the scene:

Life & Style has exclusively obtained a copy of the movie’s script – and in it, things get awfully steamy. In one scene, the real-life exes are alone in a hotel room and begin, as Justin’s character puts it, “dry humping.” Justin winds up getting, well, way too excited way too soon – ending their make-out session prematurely. “That was a mistake,” he says, rolling off her. “That was fast,” she responds.

Justin Timberlake joins ‘Bad Teacher’

Posted on March 2nd, 2010

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Justin Timberlake has nabbed the coveted role of the male lead in Bad Teacher, the Cameron Diaz comedy Jake Kasdan is directing for Columbia. Molly Shannon and Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family) are also joining the cast.

The script, by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, follows a foul-mouthed, gold-digging seventh-grade teacher who, after being dumped by her boyfriend, sets her sights on a colleague (Lucy Punch) who is dating a substitute teacher, who also is the scion of a watch fortune.

Jason Segel was cast in the supporting role of a gym teacher, with John Michael Higgins slotted as the principal, but the studio has spent the better part of the new year looking though class photos trying to find its leading man. John Krasinski, Joel McHale, Timothy Olyphant, Guy Pearce, Adam Scott and relative newcomer Cheyenne Jackson were in the mix for table reads and other tests.

Jimmy Miller is producing the feature, which starts filming this month in Los Angeles.

This will be very interesting to see and a guaranteed source for speculation, due to Cameron and Justin’s past. What do you think of Justin Timberlake joining the movie?

Posted on February 24th, 2010

According to Empire Online, Jason Segel and Christopher Guest regular John Michael Higgins have joined the cast of Cameron Diaz’ new comedy Bad Teacher.

Jake Kasdan is directing the film, which finds a trashy, gold-digging educator (Diaz) on the hunt for a new sugar daddy after being dumped by her boyfriend. She decides to snatch the perfect male teacher who is currently dating one of her colleagues (Lucy Punch). Neither Higgins nor Segel are that model employee – Higgins is paying headmaster Wally Snur and Segel will be the gym teacher.
