Cameron Diaz joins ‘Sex Tape’ with Jason Segel

Here’s some very good news! According to The Wrap, the trio behind Sony’s surprise hit Bad Teacher is chalking up a reunion, as Cameron Diaz is in early talks to reteam with director Jake Kasdan and co-star Jason Segel on the studio’s comedy Sex Tape. Escape Artists is producing the movie, which concerns a married couple who take a night off from their kids and decide to spice up their love life by making a sex tape. When they wake up the next morning, the tape is missing, prompting them to figure out who took it and how to get it back. Diaz had been rumored as a possible female lead more than a year ago, but negotiations are now underway and expected to lead to a deal. Kate Angelo wrote the script on spec, and the film will be produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch of Escape Artists. If this is anything like Bad Teacher - and it sure sounds like it will be – count me in!

Kate Upton joining ‘The Other Woman’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kate Upton is in talks to join Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann as women seeking revenge against a philanderer in Fox’s The Other Woman. Nick Cassavetes is directing the comedy, which centers on a woman (Diaz) who finds out that she is “the other woman” in an affair. She teams up with the wife (Mann) to get revenge on the cheating cad of a husband, being played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Upton is another one of Coster-Waldau’s mistresses who has no idea he is married and ends up joining the other two in the revenge scheme. Taylor Kinney is in talks to join the cast too. Although they have to work around his schedule on his series Chicago Fire. Julie Yorn is producing the project, which was written by Melissa Stack and will shoot in late spring/early summer in New York.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Leslie Mann and Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are in negotiations to star opposite Cameron Diaz in 20th Century Fox’s The Other Woman. Julie Yorn is producing the comedy which sees a woman (Diaz) finding out that she is “the other woman” in an affair. She teams up with the wife (Mann) to get revenge on the cheating cad of a husband (Coster-Waldau). Nick Cassavetes is directing the project, which was written by Melissa Stack and will shoot late spring/early summer in New York. The part Mann will play was rumored to originally have been offered to Kristen Wiig. What do you think of the new cast additions?

HD screen captures from ‘Gambit’

Gambit was released on Blu-ray and DVD in The UK on Monday (visit Amazon.co.uk to buy your copy!), and I have added HD screen captures to our photo gallery. The film is quite entertaining and all the actors are definitely game for the heist. However, I feel that the characters all could’ve been more developed and the script have more funny elements to it, instead of having the actors creating practically all of it themselves through slap-stick and faces. That being said, it’s worth a viewing for a stunning Cameron!

Cameron Diaz in ‘The Unbelievers’ documentary

Cameron Diaz is part of the documentary The Unbelievers, following renowned scientists Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss across the globe as they speak publicly about the importance of science and reason in the modern world – encouraging others to cast off antiquated religious and politically motivated approaches toward important current issues. The film includes interviews with celebrities and other influential people who support the work of these controversial speakers, including names such as Cameron Diaz, Ricky Gervais, Woody Allen, Stephen Hawking, Sarah Silverman and many more. Cameron Diaz joins ‘The Other Woman’

Cameron Diaz is attached to star in the female revenge comedy The Other Woman for Fox, a representative for the actress told TheWrap. The film, with a script by Melissa Stack, is about a woman who finds out she is the other woman in a love triangle. She meets up with the wife in order to conspire and get revenge against the husband. Kristen Wiig is also under consideration for a role in the film, the representative for Diaz said. The high-concept story is in the vein of The First Wives Club, but with a younger skew. Julie Yorn is producing through her LBI Prods. banner, while Daria Cercek will oversee the project for the studio. This piece of news has me so excited  - Cameron Diaz and Kristen Wiig in a comedy?! Count me in!
