With a new year comes a new look for our favorite girl. Cameron Diaz was spotted on Hawaii yesterday, showing off her new haircut while hanging out on the beach. It’s even shorter than it was late last year, and platinum blond as well. It kinda has a There’s Something About Mary/Charlie’s Angels-vibe to it, don’t you think?

Since this is an actual confirmation and not “a source says that…”, I’ve decided to post the following: Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez have parted ways after dating for a year and a half. I’m sorry to hear this, as Cameron always looked so happy with Alex, even saying that “it’s awesome” to Maxim in their June issue.

However, they ended their relationship on good terms, with Rodriguez telling People.com “I have a lot of love for Cameron. We’ll always be friends.”

Well, according to this article by E! Online, she is! The entertainment site says that Cameron has agreed to a deal with upscale Swiss watch company Tag Heuer to endorse its pricey timekeeping products!

They’re told the multi-million dollar deal will feature Cami as a brand “ambassador” much like Leonardo DiCaprio has in the past. The source says the worldwide ad campaign will appear in print and will continue for multiple years.

“Cameron doesn’t do many endorsements, so the company thinks she will make a big splash,” explains the insider.

Cameron Diaz has been named the female star of the year by CinemaCon, the group’s managing director Mitch Neuhauser announced yesterday! She’ll pick up her award at a Columbia Pictures event on March 30, held during CinemaCon, which runs March 28 to 31 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Here’s what Neuhauser said in a statement:

“Since making her debut on the big screen in The Mask, Cameron Diaz has continued to capture the attention of audiences around the world with her inescapable charm, innate comedic timing, and unparalleled screen presence. From the outrageously comedic There’s Something About Mary, to the action packed Charlie’s Angels, and the critically acclaimed Being John Malkovich, Diaz has proven to audiences that she can take on any role and we are thrilled to be able to present such a remarkable actress with the ‘CinemaCon Female Star of the Year Award.’”

Huge congratulations for the much deserved award, Cameron!!

On February 12, Cameron Diaz attended a ceremony to commemorate the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame with Alex Rodriguez on the Dominican Republic.  She looked very happy and proud (and beautiful!) as “A-Rod” was honored at the special event with being the youngest player to reach 600 home runs.

Cameron Diaz is nominated for favorite voice from an animated film for her role in Shrek Forever After! This year’s ceremony will air live from Los Angeles on April 2 with Jack Black returning as host for a third time. Here’s what Cameron said to People.com of her nomination:

“Well, as everyone knows, the kids know their stuff, so I’m always very flattered to be their choice for anything”After all these years, Fiona is very close to my heart and it’s awesome to know that kids around the world love her as much as I do.”
