Cameron Diaz Joins ‘The Counselor’

Fantastic news, everyone: Twitch reported that Cameron Diaz has joined the much-anticipated drama The Counselor! The movie, directed by Ridley Scott and written by Cormac McCarthy (No Country for Old Men), also stars Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem and Brad Pitt. It’s still unclear what role she will be taking on, with some reports saying it’s the lead role of Malkina and other stating it’s the supporting character Laura. Whatever the role, I’m so excited to see Cameron joining a project of this caliber. I’m more than positive that she’ll be able to hold her own against the other superb actors (remember Being John Malkovich? Vanilla Sky? In Her Shoes?). Stay tuned as we will continue to report on The Counselor as more details are revealed. The film is set to start production next month.
