John Powell to score Knight and Day

According to MovieScore Magazine, Knight and Day, the upcoming action comedy starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, will be scored by John Powell (best known for other action films such as the Bourne trilogy, X-Men: The Last Stand and Hancock). The movie tells the story about a fugitive couple who race across the world in an adventure filled with unexpected turns and twists. Additional stars in the film are Peter Sarsgaard, Maggie Grace and Paul Dano. The film, directed by James Mangold, is scheduled for release via 20th Century Fox on July 2.
